The biggest error people make when it comes to psychic readings is the unrealistic idea that those with psychic abilities have a perfect track record when it comes to prediction. After all psychics are people too, made of flesh and bone the same as everyone, and I don't know anyone who is perfect. Why should we expect this of a person who does a reading for us?
Here are a few successes and failures of well known psychics.
- David Icke: A former soccer player from the UK announced in 1991 that he was receiving predictions of events to come from such spirits as Socrates, Jesus Christ, and God himself. He foretold that disruptive vibrations, starting with the Tiananmen Square Massacre and the Sicilian mafia combined events that would first be the cause on Mount Rainier in the US would explode. There was no date given for this event. The complete disappearance of New Zealand, the destruction of the Naples Cathedral, the collapse of the Channel Tunnel, and a failure of the Texas oilfields. In 1991 he told of an earthquake greater than 8.0 would hit Greece, The isle of Arran, Cuba, and the cliffs of Kent and Teeside.
- Jeanne Dixon: In 1956 Jeanne predicted that the 1960 presidency would be won by a democrat who would die in office, but didn't see it happening in his first term. When the 1960 election drew closer, she changed the prediction and foretold that Richard Nixon would be the winner. She predicted germ warfare would break out with China in 1958. In the 1980's she predicted that a huge comet would strike the earth and that a woman president would be elected in the US. Jeanne also predicted the dissolution of the Catholic Church before the year 1990. Jeanne Dixon passed away in the 1990's.
- Edgar Cayce: This psychic and prophet, born in 1877, was known for his comprehensive readings in the early 20th century. In 1934 Cayce predicted that a portion of the lost city of Atlantis, called Poseida would rise from the Atlantic Ocean in 1968 or 1969. He also predicted that the earth will be broken up in the western portion of America. A large portion of japan will go into the sea. The upper portion of Europe will be changed as in the twinkling of an eye.
Land will appear off the east coast of America. There will be upheavals in the Arctic and the Antarctic that will make for the eruption of volcanoes in the Torrid areas, and there will be a shifting of the poles-the poles that are frigid will become tropical and fern and moss will grow this was to happen in 1958 to 1998. Other predictions were about the discovery of a death ray in 1958, China would be mostly Christian by 1968, and the Great Depression would be nearly over by 1933.
There have been plenty of disasters in the world, both natural and man induced, that have not been predicted by anyone.
